Nov 22, 2017 Today we’re going to figure out how to use GarageBand’s Live Loops feature. These let you drop a little loop of music into a square on a grid (or record your own), and then trigger that loop. Select the last region in the track, then enter ⌘T to split this region. Now select the right part of the split region and use the delete key to remove the cut off section. I use Garage Band to mix playlists of, for example, 40 tracks.

Method 1. Recover Unsaved GarageBand Files on Mac from GarageBand AutoSave
1. Command-click the problem GarageBand Project and select 'Show Package Contents'.
2. In the window showing the package contents, open the 'Media folder'.
3. Copy any .aif files out of the package and put them somewhere safe.
4. Finally, import the .aif files into a new GarageBand Project.
