Follow these steps Download script from Git Hub; Close TeamViewer (make sure the process has completely disappeared); Run the script: sudo./TeamViewer-id-changer.py; Reboot the device. This script works correctly for TeamViewer 11 and 12. Have a mac that I have cloned teamviewer from. The old mac, I still need to login via teamviewer but the duplicate ID issue has arisen. No worries, just delete the config on each laptop and reopen. The new mac reset the ID, but the old one is stuck. Have tried: Uninstall using delete config files option.
